In the Rail Logistics Division VTG organizes rail shipments of goods across Europe. We transport primarily petroleum and chemical products as well as liquefied gases, bulk and general goods such as limestone slurry and industrial goods and agricultural products. For transportation, we draw on our wide network of national and international traction partners, also using the wagon fleet from the Wagon Hire Division. Thus the right carrier service can be matched with the right wagons even on short notice. Our core competence lies in the selection and coordination of various carriers as well as the on-time supply of wagons and organization of the transport. It goes without saying that we, as a specialist in the transportation and handling of hazardous goods, have highly professional quality, emergency and safety management procedures in place.

Our business is based on a unique mix of expertise in railway practice and rail logistics know-how with an international sales and service network. We organize both single wagon forwarding, whereby goods are transported in an individual wagon or group of wagons, and block train forwarding.
